Portal arena shooter Splitgate is back with a bang, with 1047 Games hard at work on the long-awaited cross-upgrade sequel Splitgate 2.

The portal shooter sequel will change the game when it releases, with everything from new maps and battlefields to class-based warfare coming to the futuristic FPS. The developers have been hard at work building this next evolution, upgrading everything since the original Splitgate hyped up three years ago.
Don't jump through any portals just yet, because this is when Splitgate 2 launches.
At the time of writing, 1047 Games has only confirmed that Splitgate 2 will be released sometime in 2025. An exact date has not yet been announced.
