Spotify’s new Enhance feature is now available. This feature helps you curate your playlists with recommendations based on your preferences.
Spotify Premium vs. Free Spotify! (Should You Upgrade?)
The hope is that Enhance will make it easier for you to create new playlists, whether you're looking to broaden your musical horizons or capture a specific mood. It's a purely optional feature, though, so if you're not interested in it, you can always turn it off (or never turn it on).
If you do turn Enhance on, Spotify will make its own recommendations based on the track list you're listening to. You'll get a new suggestion every two songs, for a total of up to 30 in any given list. If you like one of Spotify's suggestions, you can permanently add it to the playlist with a tap. Spotify points out that this feature simply adds new songs to the list; it doesn't replace any music you've set.
It looks like Enhance will only be available to Premium users. So if you don’t have a subscription yet, you’ll need to pay at least $9.99 per month (for the Individual plan) to use it. However, if you’re a new subscriber, you can get at least three months free to try it out first.
