Ubisoft provided a deep dive into the gameplay of Star Wars Outlaws today during Ubisoft Forward at Summer Game Fest, further ramping up the excitement for the adventure in a galaxy far, far away.

Many of the key details of Star Wars Outlaws were already known, including its August 30 release date and pre-order bonuses, but gameplay and details were largely limited – though that has all changed.

A lengthy gameplay trailer showed off the ability to play arcade games, a reputation system with different syndicates that are affected by the decisions you make, and experts you can call upon to discover valuable skills.

The biggest moments of the gameplay and the second trailer for Star Wars Outlaws shown at Ubisoft Forward were the recognizable landscapes, characters, and creatures, finally confirming the inclusion of Rancors, Jabba the Hutt’s hungry dungeon pets.
