Surprise! New content is coming to Starfield tonight, revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase, where Microsoft also teased the upcoming Shattered Space expansion.

The surprise update coming to Starfield tonight adds custom creations, a custom creation kit, and content from both Bethesda and fans to expand the game with new items, weapons, skins, and other cool new stuff.
Shattered Space, meanwhile, looks to continue the storyline of the base game, as the crew continues to explore deep space. It has a darker tone than the original game, and it looks like things will be scarier and more serious than before.
Tonight’s update includes new bounties and new gear in addition to the custom content. The custom content teased is similar to what’s offered in other Bethesda games like Fallout, where players can upload their own content, find new content to add to their own game, and more. Custom ships, buildings, and suits are just the beginning of what’s to come.
