On top of these new starting points, each new League year means 24 additional game-changing patches, down slightly from 2023. These balance updates keep Riot Games’ MOBA fresh for both veteran players and Summoner’s Rift newcomers, and have become an integral part of the game’s ecosystem as the competitive grind continues.
