Arthouse distributor Strand Releasing has acquired North American rights to Norwegian filmmaker Dag Johan Haugerud's "Love," which will have its world premiere in the Venice Film Festival's main competition on September 6. M-Appeal is handling worldwide sales for the film.

“Love” is the latest installment in Haugerud’s “Sex,” “Love” and “Dreams” trilogy, which explores modern relationships and intimacy. “Sex,” the first installment, premiered at the Berlinale.
