After the disappointing run of its predecessor, Street Fighter 6 feels like nothing short of a redemption for Capcom. Consider it a reinvention of a 2D fighting game with a mix of open-world gameplay elements. I’ve been playing it since its release on June 2, 2023 and there’s still a lot to explore. From classic and modern controls to World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Grounds, this game has exceeded our expectations. So after almost a week of gaming, here’s our Street Fighter 6 Review that will help you make a better decision before you get your hands on this game.

Let’s face it, Capcom did a great job adding the new World Tour & Battle Hub feature to Street Fighter 6. I mean, as a gamer, I’m not going to spend 60 bucks on a game unless I’m a loyal fan of the franchise. But the developers had other plans for all of us. If you’re more into role-playing games, then the World Tour mode is what you’ll enjoy the most. And for those who want pure action, Street Fighter 6 gives you the Battle Hub and Fighting Grounds, which we’ll talk about later. There’s a great roster of 18 new and returning characters that serve as the icing on the cake.
