It’s no secret that Wave Frame Grenade Launchers are some of the most powerful special weapons available in Destiny 2. Even amid an archetype this universally strong, there are some clear outliers like Forbearance, but Undercurrent feels equally, if not stronger.

Undercurrent is an Arc Wave Frame, but unlike Forbearance it has the added benefit of being released in Season of Plunder after the launch of Arc 3.0. Chain Reaction has been replaced by Voltshot, Demolitionist has been added to the third column, and even Bait and Switch makes a comeback.
Undercurrent's god rolls are plentiful, and they cater to every specific niche a player could want to fill with their Wave Frame of choice. They're also going to be a lot easier for players to get their hands on, with Forbearance stuck behind RNG drops in the Vow of the Disciple raid.
There are a lot of great choices for Undercurrent in PvE. Considering Forebearance’s Chain Reaction nerf in The Final Shape, the new AoE option to add clear will definitely be Voltshot, which synergizes better with Arc subclasses anyway. Combine this with Stats For All for a fast reload to get that next shot off faster after hitting multiple enemies.
