Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League may have been the biggest video game flop of 2024, but its downward spiral hasn’t been stopped by dwindling player base. Now, devs have added new skins to the game’s player roster, and all 50 people still playing the game are furious.

The skins in question are uniform across the board, giving each of the playable characters a few nicks and a few splotches of neon paint here and there. They were added as part of the Season One update, which recently saw the second installment roll out, after Joker was previously added in an attempt to win back some of the lost players. The quality of the skins isn’t the best, with some players in a Reddit thread from May 22 going as far as to call them “hideous” and all sorts of other appropriate names.

“Horrible,” one player summed it up, adding that “it’s a step in the right direction” to add skins resembling the acclaimed Arkham series, but that none of them are “worth buying.”

“Why were the developers so angry to come up with this?” wrote another disgruntled player.
