T-Mobile has posted an update on its Investors blog regarding its ongoing investigation into cyberattacks, confirming that customer data has been stolen.

The stolen data reportedly included names, dates of birth, driver's license information and even Social Security numbers of approximately 7.8 million current postpaid customers, as well as more than 40 million past or future customers who had applied for credit with the company.
Phone numbers, account numbers, passwords and financial information were not compromised, the company said. Payment information such as credit card numbers was also not stolen.
T-Mobile also confirmed that the names, phone numbers and PIN codes of 850,000 prepaid customers had been stolen.
