Superstar T1 top laner Zeus has taken a swipe at the LEC ahead of his team’s blockbuster match against G2 Esports in Chengdu, a move that will undoubtedly excite loyal fans of Europe’s League of Legends.

Zeus and his star-studded World Championship team, T1—which, of course, also features League GOAT Faker among its ranks—are set to take to the MSI 2024 pool stage with a matchup that’s always top of mind at nearly every international League tournament: the Korean powerhouses will take on G2, the long-reigning kings of Europe, in the opening round.
While some in the League world are predicting a G2 upset, Zeus is more confident in his roster’s impending success. When asked by Sheep Esports this week if G2 is the best team in the West, the LCK top laner agreed… with a brutal caveat.
“I think a lot of people believe they're really good, and maybe the best team in the West region,” Zeus admitted when asked about G2's chances, “but I also believe that being good in the LEC and being good and playing on the international stage are very different.”
