You can buy inventory through two phone apps: Table Top and Stock Order. Table Top is a supplier of table games only, while Stock Order allows you to buy a wider variety of goods (Booster Packs, Accessories and Figurines).
You need to make a one-time purchase for the license to buy inventory in specific quantities. There are separate licenses for inventory in larger quantities, but don't buy them too early in the game if you don't have much shelf space. They only become useful once your store has expanded significantly, as they save you time by not having to keep track of and unpack multiple orders.
In the beginning of the game, you can buy inventory as you need it. Later, it becomes too time-consuming to keep buying inventory during the workdays, so you can store excess inventory in Warehouse Shelves. Employees (or yourself) can easily place items from the Warehouse Shelves directly onto the shelves for customers.
