Some of the best iPad games fall into the puzzle/adventure genre, like Angry Birds and Cut the Rope, but nothing beats the games that immerse you in the story, dazzle you with beautiful scenery, and challenge you with some of the toughest puzzles ever. But it’s not all about tough puzzles. While a few games on this list will have you pulling your hair out or scouring Google for clues, others focus more on fun, adventure, or just plain weird and creepy.

A great point and click adventure game that is perfect for the whole family. "The Tiny Bang Story" shows life on Tiny Planet after a meteor crashes to the ground. A hidden object game where you collect puzzle pieces. You'll need more than just a sharp eye to put all the items together. Many of the pieces require you to solve puzzles before they become available. There is no dialogue in the game and those who want to delve into a story may get frustrated, but the beautiful graphics make for a feast for the eyes and the simplistic style works.
