TeleParty (formerly Netflix Party) is the feature that started it all. With Netflix in a browser—or on Chrome, Roku, or Apple TV—you can connect with up to 50 of your friends wherever Netflix is available. And now, TeleParty lets you do the same with most other popular streaming services currently available, like Max (formerly HBO Max) and Disney Plus. However, you and anyone else in your party will need to install a Chrome or Edge extension to use TeleParty.
Once installed, choose a movie, select TeleParty, customize a few features, and start sharing an invite. Then start watching your favorites with your friends and chatting about them right from the screen you’re using.
To use Netflix Watch Party, find the content you want to share, click Watch Party, invite your friends, and you can chat and watch together.
