Planning for the start of the school year is much harder than it was when students only needed a pen and a notebook. A variety of devices that make studying and campus life easier for students are not only useful, but necessary in today’s classrooms and dorms.

We have kids in school, from kindergarten to college. Here are our thoughts on what kids today really need (and will actually use) in school this year.

Bikes can be a great way to get to school and get around campus quickly, but finding a place to park them can often be tricky and there’s always the risk of them getting damaged or even stolen during class. Folding bikes solve both of these problems.

Folding bikes are not only just as functional as traditional bikes, but they are also much lighter and can be folded up to be carried by hand or put in a bag. Ideally, they are as portable as a skateboard, but much more useful.
