For our best Confessor build, we capitalized on thematic aspects of the class, focusing on Faith and Strength to wield powerful spells and weapons. With this build, you can defeat the toughest enemies during your Elden Ring playthrough.
To utilize the melee caster playstyle, focus most of your attribute points on Faith and Strength. Vigor is an essential stat to consider for most builds. Since you’ll be in melee range for most of your encounters (except for some long-range spellcasting), you’ll want to have enough HP to not get one-shotted. Mind and Endurance are stats to support your FP-hungry spells and melee playstyle, respectively.
You can leave Dexterity, Intelligence, and Arcane at the starting level unless you want to use gear that requires you to go further.
