As part of the CoD: Warzone season one announcement, Raven Software confirmed that the KATT-AMR can one-shot enemies from any distance. Warzone 2 also featured one-shot sniping, but the guns were required to have explosive ammo, which made for a huge bullet drop.
Without the explosive ammo requirement, the KATT-AMR can easily take out an enemy from across the map. Additionally, Raven Software has made Overkill a default perk, meaning players can equip two primary weapons without wasting a perk slot.
The combination of overpowered one-shot sniping and the ease of equipping two primary weapons is what makes sniper support weapons shine. That’s where the MTZ-556 comes in.
