Okay, science nerds. This is your chance to have some fun on X (formerly Twitter) with people who might actually understand your serious need for information. These aren’t the only science X accounts, but they are some of the best to get you started.

@neiltyson is perhaps one of the most famous scientists on Earth right now. Dr. Tyson is an astrophysicist, author, and most recently the host of @COSMOSonTV, a space-time odyssey. We understand he’s more popular in the Andromeda galaxy, but their appreciation for science is light years greater than ours.

@IFLScience is the "lighter side of science" and often very funny. While IFLScience tweets about important scientific topics, they also cover topics like musicians turning lemur calls into beatboxing rhythms and time-lapse videos of hyenas feeding on buffalo.

You can’t talk about the best Science X accounts without mentioning @NASA. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration took us to the moon and beyond our solar system with the Voyager spacecraft. They also put the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit, providing beautiful, detailed views of the universe.
