I like my digital devices neat and organized. I keep my Mac desktop tidy, and my iPad’s home screen is pristine. But iPhones are a little different: We usually want our most-used apps front and center, but over time, apps inevitably start to pile up, making our phones a cluttered mess. If you feel like you’re spending half your screen time scrolling through a sea of apps, it’s time to clean up your home screen.

7 AESTHETIC Ways to Organize Your iPhone Apps and Home Screen!

If your iPhone has endless Home Screen pages, cleaning things up can feel like a chore. You could delete apps one by one, but that takes forever and often leaves you more frustrated than when you started. Instead of wasting time, energy, and sanity fine-tuning your many Home Screen pages, just hide them. It’s quick and easy, and the ability to do so might just be my favorite iOS feature to date. To get started, launch the Home Screen editor (or “jiggle mode” as some affectionately call it) by long-pressing an empty part of the screen, or by long-pressing an app and selecting “Edit Home Screen.” Tap the page switcher (the oval with dots) at the bottom of the screen to reveal all of your existing Home Screen pages. To hide a specific page from your Home Screen, tap the checkmark icon. The only restriction is that you must leave at least one Home Screen page active, so choose accordingly. When you're finished, tap "Done" to return to a cleaner, more organized Home Screen. You can repeat this process at any time to restore previously hidden pages.

You can also hide home screen pages during a focus session, so that only certain pages appear when you're at work, having free time, or relaxing in the evening.

Personally, I keep a single Home Screen page with a combination of my favorite apps and widgets. When I need another app, I can swipe left once on my Home Screen to bring up the App Library, which contains all of my apps (more on that later). Or I can swipe down on the Home Screen to reach Spotlight and search for the app I need.
