Feeling a little scared by the big melee warrior coming at you? Find some rocks (if you can get outside) or some other object and jump on them. Then stand there and throw fireballs and shoot arrows at the poor enemy, who can't defend himself.
If you want to carry a lot of weapons, armor, potions, or other items, but don't want to have them in your inventory, get the indestructible Dark Brotherhood horse Shadowmere. Knock it down until it's unconscious. Get to it right away, before it gets back up, and search its body like you would normal enemies.
Normally, an unconscious character will only give you a Talk option when they’re lying on the ground. But while you’re exploring Shadowmere, press the left trigger button and drop any items you want to offload. This is more convenient than carrying everything in your personal inventory with you into battle.
