Why the US Isn't Ready for Clean Energy
Ah, the friend who is an expert on electrical infrastructure. They’ve spent minutes, maybe hours, searching for the perfect meme to make sure you and all their other friends know that electric cars are just as bad as gas cars because (drumroll) America runs on coal plants.
Coal mined from deep within the earth by men and women working too hard in dangerous environments for far too little pay, so we can watch Netflix and feel better about the car we choose.
But yes, that's not entirely true.
