Starfield's first planned expansion, Shattered Space, is scheduled to release this fall. And while we have no idea what the next DLC will be about, or when it will arrive, a trademark suggests it's called Starborn.
Starfield's 'Shattered Space' hasn't launched yet, but we might already know what the next DLC will be in 2025
Bethesda Softworks owner ZeniMax Media first shared this on July 29 in a thread with Reddit user Quelanight2324, where they filed a trademark for Starborn, which players say is the title of the next Starfield DLC coming sometime after Shattered Space.
We don't have any concrete information on what the DLC will be about, or whether Starborn is the actual title, but the name suggests it's related to the mysterious multiversal race that plays a major role in Starfield's main story.
Given that Shattered Space is coming out a year after the game's initial release, we're speculating that Starborn is targeting a late 2025 or even 2026 release window. With the ongoing voice actor strike at SAG-AFTRA, which includes numerous companies that provide voice work for Bethesda itself, development on Starborn's next expansion could be hampered, pushing the release window further back. But until we get more information about the expansion, we're really just guessing.
