Samsung has unveiled an all-new color option for the Galaxy S22: Bora Purple.

Colors can convey different kinds of ideas and emotions, consciously or unconsciously. So much so that it’s an essential fundamental subject in almost all forms of visual art. It’s even tied into most interior design, such as the way most schoolrooms use cooler (i.e. calming) colors. And it’s what Samsung says the latest Galaxy S22 color option, Bora Purple, makes more meaningful.

It’s certainly not the only time that purple has appeared on a Samsung device, but it is one of the lighter, softer examples. If you look at the phone itself, it’s more of a pastel purple with a tiny hint of pink mixed in – almost a lilac color.
