Latest supply chain reports suggest that the new, larger iPad Air will feature the same mini-LED screen technology as the current iPad Pro. Even the smaller 11-inch Pro doesn’t have a screen this nice, which leads us to think that a) the next iPad Air is going to be amazing and b) the iPad Pro is going to have to up its game to remain a force to be reckoned with.

While Apple may continue to push users to opt for the Pro instead, giving the Air the improved processor chips will make it a popular choice among iPad users. Add a few new colors to choose from and the new iPad Air is likely to do very well," technology expert Daivat Dholakia told Lifewire via email.
Until now, the only way to get a large-screen iPad was to buy the iPad Pro, which is a big step up in price and specs if all you want is a bigger screen. You'd also be paying for the Face ID camera, often a faster processor, and better speakers and cameras.
