However, some TikTokers disagree, claiming that the hairstylist should refuse to service any natural redheads because their hair color is extremely rare.
Adding blonde highlights to natural red hair is a tricky task. The hairstylist chooses the technique that will enhance and maintain the client's natural hair color, as it complements her skin tone.
She opts for a so-called surface painting – the colour method where the hair dye is applied to the top layer, so that the original hair colour becomes visible from underneath. The hair professional also leaves large pockets of depth during the process for a perfect mix of colours.
