The Apple Support app for iOS has been updated and the new version 4.3 now includes paired AirPods in your devices list.
How to connect AirPods to your iPhone or Android device | Apple Support
Before the 4.3 update, the Apple Support iOS app only offered a generic AirPods menu option if you needed support or wanted to report loss or damage. Now, the app can show your specific AirPods (once they’re paired) and provide detailed device information.
This means you don’t have to dig through a generic AirPods menu or Bluetooth settings to find your specific model. You can now pull up warranty information directly within the Apple Support app, making it much easier to look up information or report a problem.
This is especially important in the event that you experience any issues with your AirPods, as service is free as long as it’s within the first year of purchase. While the one-year limited warranty only covers defects, it doesn’t cover wear and tear from normal use.
