When I started using the Electrohome Kingston 7-in-1 turntable, I realized how much I have been missing out on in terms of digital music.

Electrohome Kingston 7-in-1 Vinyl Record Player Review

I’ve been listening to music from iTunes and other services for so long that it’s been decades since I put a needle to vinyl. When I started spinning a Billie Holiday record on the Kingston, I was blown away by the deep, rich sound. I felt like I was at a live concert. Suddenly, my Apple HomePod sounded tinny by comparison.

The Kingston is also a gorgeous, retro machine that’s a nice change from the minimalist smart speaker designs of the past few years. It has a genuine walnut cabinet, accented with bronze knobs and keys on the front of the turntable.

I'm no audiophile, but I'm old enough to remember the days before most music was compressed using various schemes like the MP3 format. I was happy to trade higher quality sound for the convenience of being able to stream or download almost any song without hassle.
