LCS fans have been waiting for an official League of Legends showmatch between the two neighboring giants, USA and Canada, and they are finally getting one this Friday.

On August 7, LCS shoutcasters including CaptainFlowers, Kobe, and Jatt announced a League showcase match between the two countries "in the spirit of the ongoing Olympic Games." The video revealing the match was posted on X and also details the rosters. They're pretty full, to say the least.
Each team is made up of veterans and young prodigies, the perfect mix to bring dynamic and tactical gameplay to the Summoner’s Rift. Dhokla, Blaber, APA, Yeon and Busio will represent the USA, while Licorice, Tomio, Jojopyun, Massu and Vulcan will fight for the honor of Canada.
