I'm so pleased with the speed and incredibly sleek design of Apple's new iMac M1 that I immediately purchased the Logitech Mx Master 3 for Mac mouse, in an attempt to find a pointing device that could keep up.
Apple Magic Mouse vs. Logitech MX Master 3S
With all the design tweaks and upgrades in the iMac, why is Apple still using the same old Magic Mouse? It’s fine for light pointing and clicking, but true keyboard warriors need more control and better ergonomics. The Master 3 is the Ginsu Knife of mice, with an enticing array of buttons and features.
The first thing I noticed was how much more comfortable the Mx Master 3 was than the Magic Mouse. It has a nice textured rubbery coating that's a welcome contrast to the hard plastic of Apple's stock mouse.
The Master 3 is ergonomically designed, so it holds my wrist in a position that provided immediate relief for my developing carpal tunnel syndrome. At 2 x 3.3 x 4.9 inches, the Master 3 is on the large side, but the height gives my palm somewhere to rest. If you have smaller hands, you may want to consider a smaller model.
