I recently got my hands on Apple’s flagship iPhone 12 Pro Max and was so impressed with its performance that I was convinced OnePlus’ latest phones couldn’t match it.

But I was dead wrong. The OnePlus 9 Pro, starting at $970, and its cheaper sibling, the standard OnePlus 9, offer blazing speeds, eye-popping screens, and gorgeous designs.

The screens were the first thing that caught my attention. The colors are much more vibrant than on the iPhone and the screen seemed brighter too.

I didn't think the 120Hz refresh rate would make much of a difference since I don't play many games, and watching videos on the phone seems ridiculous with such a small screen. The higher refresh rate should make everything look smoother.
