While Destiny 2's first episode, Echoes, is still several months away, Bungie has already revealed a huge chunk of what players can expect in the next episode.

The second episode of 2024, Revenant, will focus on the remaining Fallen enemies in the solar system and the Scorn like Fikrul the Fanatic. And today, during a developer stream, Bungie announced that it’s making a major change to the way story content is delivered.
Bungie has been delivering seasonal/episodic content in weekly drops in Destiny 2 for several years now. As a test version, Revenant will have all story content available at once from day one, which is a huge departure from the developer's philosophy.
This will be a controversial change for some players. Weekly content has given players a reason to return to the game each week for new story drops and challenges, and many have previously complained that there isn’t much left to do once the story content ends.
