Final Fantasy XIV's Dawntrail has proven to be one of the most interesting expansions yet, not only because of its impressively engaging (if somewhat uneven) story, but also because of the great cast of new characters that have already grown on many of us. To gain some insight, an unofficial character popularity poll was recently distributed to Japanese players of the FFXIV community, asking which characters they thought were the best in the latest expansion.
As posted by FFXIV insider Audrey (@aitaikimochi) on X (formerly Twitter) and shared by 'Head-Photojournalist' on Reddit, the top 10 results, after around 17,000 votes, showed a lot of appreciation for Dawntrail's many new characters, though two returning characters still topped the list.
