Soundboks has made a name for itself in the party scene over the years. They’ve been around since 2015, but I hadn’t heard of them until they released their third-generation Soundboks speaker. As you might have guessed by now, they specialize in stage speakers specifically designed for parties, until 2022 when they released their first portable party speaker, the Soundboks Go. It’s a smaller version of their flagship party speaker that I can carry more easily with one hand. For its size, it’s the most powerful portable party speaker I’ve ever used.

While the speaker is great at what it does, it lacks in other aspects of the larger flagship speakers that could have made this speaker much better. Yes, it is expensive at $699, but I can see it serving a purpose for those who need power and quality in a compact 20-pound speaker. However, if you’re looking for an indoor party speaker with more features, I recommend the PartyBox Stage 320 . Soundboks sent me their portable speaker to review.
