The Insta360 GO camera has always had a reputation for being small, but the latest version isn’t just small—it also packs a ton of extra features.
Meet Insta360 GO 3S – Your tiny, powerful 4K camera
In an announcement sent to Lifewire, Insta360 introduced the Insta360 GO 3S action camera. It’s a 4K video camera with a magnetic mount that weighs in at just 1.04 ounces. The Go 3S gets a number of new features and improvements over the Insta360 GO 3, including an upgrade to 4K video, up from the previous version’s 2.7K.
The Go 3S weighs a little more than its predecessor, by about 0.02 ounces; probably not enough to stand out without a scale. But it makes up for that with the new CPU, which Insta360 says offers 50 percent more processing power and a 30 fps capture rate.
The GO 3S also has a new wide-angle lens and MegaView FOV, which Insta360 says “delivers a more realistic image with less distortion and straighter, cleaner edges.” The GO 3S is Dolby Vision-Ready for HDR and also includes Slow Motion upgrades, allowing you to record up to 200 fps at 1080p or 100 fps at 2.7K.
