WhatsApp has released a new custom sticker creation tool that lets you generate stickers using images from your iPhone's camera roll. The tool is available on all iPhones running iOS 17 or later and can be accessed from the app's sticker drawer within any chat.

The new sticker maker tool means you no longer need to drag items from the Photos app into WhatsApp to create new stickers, as WhatsApp can now natively detect and extract objects from images. You can also customize the stickers with in-app stickers and emojis, draw over them or add text to give them a unique look.
