If you have no compassion for others and keep getting copies of Resonators that you barely use, Kuro Games has the solution with the upcoming Wuthering Waves 1.2 update, which will give you the five-star Resonator Xiangli Yao for free.

According to the developer, Xiangli Yao is one of the upcoming Resonators coming to Wuthering Waves in 1.2, along with Zhezhi. It’s officially called the “In the Turquoise Moonglow” update. At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether the Resonator will be sent directly to your inbox or if you’ll have to complete a series of challenges, similar to how everyone unlocked Yuanwu for free by progressing through the Tower of Adversity.

Kuro is also adding the Moon-Chasing Festival with the August 15 update, as well as fan-requested features like Custom Lock-on, which has three different modes: Movement Direction, Camera Direction, and Distance. The feature should come as a relief to players whose camera angles have caused choppy movement and caused them to lose battles.

The developer is also adding a new utility called Hoverdroid: Shooter, which you can use at any time to solve puzzles that previously required a shooting-skilled Resonator in your team, or shuffle your team completely. Now you can do any team composition without needing a Shooter in your team to solve the puzzles.
