The Scintillation is Destiny 2's deadliest Strand linear fusion rifle, and it has enough perks to create a collage of god rolls depending on what you want from the weapon. It's godlike in PvE, but don't go looking for Crucible perks here.
Every Super God Roll & How to Get Them
The incredible perk pool is Scintillation's greatest strength, with multiple meta options in each column. Linear fusion rifles are usually under-populated, so Scintillation is going to be an interesting weapon from the start.
Scintillation is available through Nightfalls when it’s the featured weapon, but players who already own a copy can target the normal version at any time through Zavala. Guardians who brave Grandmasters can also earn this weapon as an Adept version when it’s on tap, targeting it with Nightfall Ciphers on subsequent rolls. Removing the Adept Big Ones Spec makes the rest of the Adept mods more valuable, as they’ll usually be fighting against less powerful versions of themselves (though with fewer drawbacks).
Linear fusion rifles may have fallen in value a lot since their heyday, but they can still be a solid damage option, especially if you’re looking for something to go with a Strand spike in applicable activities (which don’t include base-difficulty raids). Here are our Scintillation godrolls in Destiny 2, focused on the PvE side of things.
