Now that the hype surrounding Summer Game Fest has died down a bit (with a Nintendo Direct coming up soon as the final major presentation), it's time to look ahead to what's coming and where the excitement lies.

The Most Wanted Steam Games

According to a new report from GameDiscover.Co, Black Myth: Wukong saw a huge jump in wishlists on Steam and "should have a huge launch." The action-RPG inspired by the Chinese novel Journey to the West saw a whopping 854,000 new wishlists since Summer Game Fest, bringing its total to around four million.

These figures are from June 7-13, and include everything revealed or shown off during SGF, the Xbox Games Showcase, Day of the Devs, IGN Live, and part of Steam's Next Fest.

During SGF, Black Myth: Wukong revealed a cinematic trailer alongside a Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition two months ahead of its planned release. In the game, you play as Wukong and "set out as the Destined One to brave the challenges and wonders that lie before you, to reveal the hidden truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past."
