Ultra Unlocks are unique events that take place after Pokémon Go Fest ends and are supposed to be major additions of new Pokémon. In recent years, we’ve had things like Galar Pokémon suddenly appearing in 2021 and, more recently, last year’s Galar starters and more.

When this year's Ultra Unlocks turned out to be a few standard events, trainers were rightly a little angry.
