Those numbers are interesting, but there’s another number in CIRP’s data that tells an even more important part of the story: 43 percent of Mac buyers are already Mac users, which means that roughly 60 percent come from other platforms. So what drives people to switch from PCs and budget Chromebooks to higher-end Macs, and why do people stay once they’ve made the switch?
"The appeal of Macs for video production agencies comes down to several key factors. First, Macs are known for their robust performance and stability," Mac user and Envy Creative Creative Director Mike Vannelli told Lifewire via email. "[W]hile the initial cost of a Mac may be higher, the long-term benefits of reliability, performance, and seamless integration make them a preferred choice for video production agencies."
There are several reasons to choose a Mac over other options: they’re easier to use, offer more privacy and security, integrate amazingly well with your other Apple devices, are faster, and use less battery and simply last longer.
