There’s nothing worse than being stuck outside in the rain with no way to retreat. The Thule Paramount 24L Daypack is for those looking for a little more protection from Mother Nature while also keeping their precious electronics safe. A nylon exterior, water-resistant finish, and internal “Safe Edge” foam protection all combine to make the Paramount Daypack as durable as it is spacious. That said, if you’re looking for something stylish enough to tote to the office, this isn’t the bag for you.

Let’s get this out of the way right away: the Thule Paramount Daypack is a bit of an ugly duckling. With a welded rubber bottom, a questionable light blue interior, and a roll-up compartment that looks like an ugly backpack when unfolded, the Daypack is not for business professionals. It’s aimed squarely at outdoor athletes and those looking for something durable that can withstand the elements. As it turns out, the Paramount Daypack excels in just those areas.

We love a bag that can take a beating, and the Daypack delivers inside and out. A 420D Nylon exterior, combined with a water-resistant finish, makes for a sturdy bag that’s ready to keep your stuff safe when you get caught in the rain. And while we criticize those welded lower panels for being unsightly, they also do a good job of maintaining the bag’s shape.
