I’m not afraid to admit that I stumbled upon the Worldle today. It was tough, even by New York Times standards. Before I reveal the answer, I have a few hints and clues that might point you in the right direction.

Still struggling with today's Wordle? I don't blame you. The answer is HALF. To halve is a verb that means to divide into two equal or approximately equal sized pieces. "If using an onion, peel, halve, and cut each half into thirds for thick wedges." The word can also mean to fit (cross bars) together by cutting off half the thickness of each piece.
The New York Times said that players had to guess an average of 5.8 out of six times to get the answer right on Worldle, which doesn’t surprise me. While it’s not a difficult word on the scale of things, I had a hard time getting the answer. I’d give it a four out of five for difficulty.
