Howard confirmed the DLC's vague fall launch window in an interview with Kinda Funny Games host Greg Miller on April 29. Among the many topics discussed, Howard revealed that the team has been hard at work on the DLC and that fans shouldn't have to wait too much longer. Howard didn't give an exact date during the interview, but we now at least have a rough idea of when to expect the DLC.
Following the 2023 holiday break, Bethesda immediately got to work in 2024 on fixing the mountains of bugs and issues that players had been experiencing with Starfield. While the vast majority of updates didn’t add a huge amount of new content, many players returned to the space-faring title simply to be able to play again; many PC players in particular had been struggling to get into the game prior to the February 20th update.
But now we’re gearing up for Shattered Space, which was originally teased for a late 2023 release, then the first few months of 2024. As rumors of a release quickly spread, many players began sending in their DLC wishlists to Bethesda, including the addition of pilotable mechs to personal space outposts.
