On some devices, wireless capabilities can be turned on and off via a physical switch on the edge of the device. At the same time, most devices allow you to turn Wi-Fi on and off via software.

Check both areas first as this will save you time troubleshooting if the wireless connection is simply disabled.

If you’re using a laptop, look for a hardware switch or special function key that turns the wireless radio on and off. It’s relatively easy to accidentally flip this, or maybe you did it on purpose and forgot. Either way, flip that switch or press that function key to see if this is the case.
