Olympus Mju won't load or start (solved)

Most of the time this problem is caused by a dead battery or a battery that has been installed incorrectly. Make sure that the battery is also fully charged. It is possible that the camera button is stuck, which is sometimes a problem with some older Olympus cameras. Check that the camera has no damage or dirt around the power button.

If the camera seems to turn off at odd times, it could be that the battery is low. It is also possible that you accidentally pressed the power button, so pay attention to the position of your hands.

Check the battery compartment door carefully. Sometimes the camera will turn off if the battery door cannot be closed all the way, or if the lock switch is defective or not fully in the locked position.
