According to a new report, Dr Disrespect's ban from Twitch was followed by a complaint to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). It is alleged that the complaint was filed by Twitch over "explicit messages" sent to a minor.

According to a report by Rod “Slasher” Breslau for Rolling Stone (published June 27 and updated June 29), the messages DrDisrespect sent were considered serious enough to be reported to NCMEC, an organization that works with law enforcement to address child exploitation.
According to the report, a former Twitch employee with knowledge of the matter told Slasher that Twitch launched an investigation into Dr. Disrecpect after learning he was sending inappropriate messages to a minor.
“After reviewing the content of the Whisper conversation, it quickly became clear how outrageous the behavior was and what actions Twitch needed to take,” the source told Slasher. “The decision to permanently fire Beahm was made relatively quickly, due to the severity of the behavior.”
