Twitch is suing two users who allegedly carried out "hate attacks" on the platform in recent months.

According to Wired, the new lawsuit is the result of users “Cruzzcontrol” and “CreatineOverdose,” who targeted Twitch streamers in the Black, LGBTQIA+ and transgender communities using racist, homophobic, sexist and transphobic content last month. Twitch said the harassment violated its terms of service.
The lawsuit alleges that the two users continually created multiple new accounts after being banned in order to continue their “hate raids,” in which groups of malicious users use bot accounts to flood a streamer’s chat with abuse. The user Cruzzcontrol is allegedly responsible for creating 3,000 bot accounts associated with hate raids.
Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that these users continue to promote and engage in hate speech even after being banned, despite Twitch's security measures.
