Twitter has announced that it will be updating its direct messages with new features, which will be rolling out over the coming weeks.
Here's how Tyga slides into DMs…
In a recent Twitter thread, Twitter Support revealed the social media company's upcoming changes to DMs. The stated intention is to improve navigation for conversations and make it easier to share tweets within messages, among other tweaks. Unfortunately, none of these tweaks involve the (very) frequently requested Edit button.
First on the list is the option to share a single tweet across up to 20 separate DM conversations. The hope is that this will reduce the chance of someone accidentally creating group conversations when trying to send a tweet to multiple people. Twitter says this has already started rolling out on iOS and web browsers, with an Android update planned "soon."
Next up is a quick-scroll button that jumps straight to the most recent message, so you don't have to scroll back when searching through the chat. According to Twitter, this is rolling out now on both Android and iOS.
