Uber has unveiled several planned features aimed at both frequent flyers and occasional travelers.

A recent announcement highlights several features intended to make the post-landing portion of your trip a little smoother. It’s not just about having a car waiting for you when you step off the plane. You can also use Mobile Ordering For Pickup to pre-order food and have a meal ready for you via Uber Eats as soon as you leave your arrival gate.
Ready When You Are is a new option that allows you to request a ride when your plane lands, but you can specify when you want to be picked up. You can choose between “as soon as possible”, 10 minutes or up to 20 minutes, to give yourself more time to get from your gate to the exit.
The feature will be available on Android starting Wednesday and will come to iOS sometime in November.
