Uber is launching a new feature called Uber Explore, which will let people search for nearby events and make reservations.

Explore appears as a new tab in the app and has everything categorized, including a section for nearby bars, concerts, restaurants, and more. Additionally, Uber Explore has four unique features, including one-click rides, special ride discounts, and a personalized feed.
Like other event apps, Uber Explore has directions to venues and lets people upload photos and write reviews. You’ll also get special discounts at popular spots in your area; Uber gave the example of people getting 15 percent off their rides through these deals.
Other features include the aforementioned one-click rides, which let you book a ride to a set destination with a single tap, and personalized suggestions based on past experiences. You can also buy tickets directly through the app using your Uber Wallet.
